Who We Are.

Save Our Democracy! was founded by a team of dedicated volunteers united by a shared commitment to progressive politics. Our goal is to activate volunteers for causes that elect Democrats and increase voter turnout. We want to turn the tide toward progressive politics in all corners of America, and we’re asking you to join us.

If you’re interested in volunteer work, but have no clue where to begin, you’ve come to the right place. Our online interface streamlines the process of getting involved. We know that it’s crunch time, and late stage volunteering is critical to increasing voter turnout.

About Powered by People

Founded by Beto O'Rourke, Powered by People is an organization that draws on grassroots volunteer power to positively influence elections in competitive State House races, with a mission to maximize the voting power of Texas Democrats. This year, Powered by People is aiming to be the key force behind the largest voter turnout in Texas history. They also support a voter registration effort that involves mobile outreach to unregistred likely Democrats, as well as mass distribution of voter registration forms.
